Stop guessing the dimensions for your Reels!

Instagram reels provide excellent organic reach and are the best option to help you grow your audience. However, if they’re formatted incorrectly your viewers will miss certain information, not find your video visually appealing or professional.

So stop guessing the dimensions for your reels and follow this simple guide.

Key Tips:

Your Instagram profile name will appear on the top portion of the final reel so make sure to leave room for it up top.

Instagram provides space for people to preview your written copy for your Reels post at the bottom so follow this guide and include your text in the “Safe Text Zone.”

When you post your Reel it will also be posted to your Instagram profile as a 1x1 image so keep that in mind too!

When you’re creating your reel, simply download this template and add it as an image on your reel. Make sure all your text and images are within the template boundaries when you preview it. Then make sure to delete the template from your reel before posting.
